Eligibility Criteria for Applying for International Scholarships in the UK

International students need specific eligibility criteria to apply for scholarships in the UK. Although every scholarship has certain eligibility criteria, However, the following are the common prerequisites for applying for the scholarships in the UK:

  • Academic Achievements: The applicant must have excellent academic scores in their previous studies with a competitive percentage/GPA. 
  • Online Scholarship Eligibility Test: Students who are non-native English speakers need to demonstrate proficiency in English to avail in certain scholarships. Students need a minimum IELTS score of 5 or equivalent in similar tests to avail scholarships in the UK.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Students involved in different extracurricular, social, leadership, and sports activities will get a good scholarship in the UK.
