Why choose this course?
– A Level 5 qualification (like a Higher National Diploma (HND), Foundation Degree, or Level 5 Diploma) is the same academic level as the second year of a bachelor’s degree.
– Level 5 courses focus on hands-on, job-related skills, not just theory.
– You’ll complete projects and assignments relevant to your chosen industry — great preparation for employment.
– Employers value them because they show you have specialist knowledge and work-ready skills.
– A Level 5 qualification can help you move into higher-level roles or management positions.
– It’s ideal if you already work in a field (like health, business, or engineering) and want to advance your qualifications without leaving your job.
– After completing it, you can usually “top up” to a full bachelor’s degree (Level 6) by studying for just one more year.
– You can usually enter a Level 5 course if you’ve completed:
A Level 4 qualification (e.g. HNC or Level 4 Diploma)
Or have relevant experience in your industry.
– Afterward, you can progress to: Level 6 (Bachelor’s Degree Top-Up)
Or directly into professional employment.
– A Level 5 course helps you gain higher-level, practical skills, improve your employability, and gives you a flexible, affordable route to a full degree or better job opportunities.
